An inauguration focused on the new production line.

On Thursday May 12th, France Elévateur inaugurated its new production building called FE3 Bis. On this occasion, many customers came and shared a lunch with the whole France Elévateur team. This new building is intended to complement the FE3 production line, which has been operational since the end of 2020. This production line is responsible for the assembly of 12m aerial work platforms for the telecom market.

The new production building has a surface area of 1800 sqm and has been operational since the beginning of 2022. This is where the entire upper part (turret, telescopic arm and basket) is assembled and where the electrical adjustments and finishing operations are performed. The entire organisation of this building was designed around two main objectives: the optimisation of logistics flows and the industrialisation of the entire assembly process, and it was these elements that our customers were able to discover during the day. The additional production area brings the total production area of the FE Group to almost 25,000 sqm with the inclusion of the Movex factory near Barcelona.

New products in the spotlight

The inauguration also provided an opportunity to showcase FE Group’s new flagship products. From the France Elévateur range we could see, among others, the first 172 TPL model as well as the first 101 Fp on Ford Custom carrier.

Products from the Movex range, a Spanish manufacturer of aerial work platforms and part of FE Group, were also on display. These products include the ATL 15 on Ford Ranger, which is the first pick-up in the group’s range, and the ATL 15 on Piaggio Gas – Green Platform, a compact, environmentally friendly vehicle with a LPG engine, particularly suitable for urban work. The vehicles produced by Movex combine performance and simplicity of use with low operating costs, making them a real alternative in the French aerial work platform market.
