This year 2022 has been marked by many events, new products and developments in our vehicle ranges, but also by deliveries and inaugurations! Discover France Elévateur’s 2022 year in review, and relive the highlights of the last 12 months.
To start the New Year, we were pleased to announce that our modular building built on our plant to increase our production capacity was finally completed.
France Elévateur and its factories are constantly evolving to provide you with the best possible support.
Here is a glimpse inside:
In January, our susidiary Movex announced the development of a new green vehicle on Piaggio Gas to come in the following months. This ATL 15 has specific technical features such as:
This compact vehicle is the ideal solution for urban areas where the criteria for CO2 emissions are regulated.
Our training center FE Training has obtained the Qualiopi certification, attesting to the quality of our training process. It also makes the same process compliant with the requirements of the National Quality Reference System (NQRS).
Once again, the ATL 15 was featured, this time mounted on a Ford Ranger 4×4 VL. This allows work to be carried out in places that are difficult to access with a standard machine. Indeed, its compass/telescope architecture, as well as its working height of 15.2 m and its maximum outreach of 8 m, ensure valuable maneuverability.
Our subsidiary FE Benelux moved out to an ideally located building in Tournai, Belgium. The Belgian team of the FE Group can now welcome you under the best possible conditions!
March 2022 marked 365 days since Movex was acquired by France Elévateur. The collaboration between the leading Spanish aerial work platform manufacturer and the first French manufacturer has engaged an unprecedented development of the Group, with over 500 employees in 4 European countries. To celebrate this, some of our team travelled to the Movex factory in Spain, and were able to capture this beautiful moment!
Another highlight of the month was the DLR congress in Nantes. We were able to meet you and discuss current issues. Thanks to our presence on site, we chatted with you in a friendly and stimulating atmosphere.
We were able to conduct our first customer interview with Alain Casel, director of CITEOS Longwy, a company that installs city infrastructures and illuminations. The company’s technicians use our awp on a daily basis, their latest acquisition at that time being a 162 TLE Pack Eco, an electric and environmentally-friendly vehicle.
Our partner Renault Trucks allowed us to be present on its stand at the Eco Mobility Days on 22 and 23 April. These 2 days were punctuated by numerous activities organised around ecological and electric driving, with a strong focus on new mobility. We had the opportunity to tell you more about our green range, including the ATL 15 on Piaggio, and you discovered the 100% green 121 Fcce on display!
May was marked by the inauguration of our brand new production building, known as FE3 Bis, which will be built at the end of 2021. More than 130 employees, partners and customers were able to spend a convivial moment on this sunny day. It was a perfect occasion to show them the new building dedicated to the production of 12m awp for the telecom market, and for them to discover or rediscover the models of the FE group.
The first exhibition to kick off in June was the IAF, the international trade fair on track technology, in Münster. On this occasion, FE Deutschland was present to show you our product range dedicated to the railway business, especially the RP450V.
Enedis invited us to its Forum Matériel in Toulouse. Our team was therefore able to exhibit some of our models, such as the 152 TPM and the 162 TLE. Part of the team from our training center FE Training also joined us to run a virtual reality stand to better understand emergency maneuvers.
ICOLIM fair has been specialising in live-line working since the 1990s. As France Elévateur is a reference in the manufacture of awp for live working, our technical and export teams naturally travelled to Turin to exhibit two of our patented models, unique in the world: the 172 TBI insulated from 20 to 63 kV and the 172 ATBI insulated at 400 kV
After 6 years of existence, we decided to equip our Clermont-Ferrand AS agency with a more modern building to match the quality and efficiency of the tools we use.
Indeed, our after-sales services must have all the means of mobility and projection, such as breakdown vans and mobile technicians. The inauguration was an opportunity to meet and thank our loyal customers.
France Élévateur was in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, in Beaune, on 22, 23 and 24 June for the 2022 edition of the JDL trade show.
We have been a loyal participant in the JDL since its inception and, as a designer and manufacturer of aerial work platforms, we are keen to be present each year to showcase our new products.
The France Elévateur, Movex and CTE ranges were present on our stand for the occasion. We had the opportunity to exhibit 8 aerial work platforms on our 400 square meter booth.
Finally, we closed this month of June with a very important announcement for the France Elévateur group. Indeed, our company is now part of the Time Manufacturing Company group. The latter is a global manufacturer of awp, which includes the brands Versalift, Aspen Aerials, BrandFX and Ruthmann.
This acquisition is an important step in the company’s global growth plan, as the resulting group will offer a broader range of products and services to the major European markets: France, Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark…
As every year, we organized our annual meal in July. A lunch that took place just before the plant closed for summer.
Our employees were obviously looking forward to it! This convivial moment allowed us all to get together (and that’s a lot of people to gather!) to exchange, take stock, but also have fun.
Right after this, we said goodbye to each other to make room for the summer vacations until the end of August!
As mentioned earlier, our FE Benelux subsidiary moved to a brand new building in Belgium in March. On this occasion, we met to inaugurate these new premises. This allowed us to bring together nearly fifty clients and to exchange with them.
September marked the beginning of an unprecedented event in the history of France Elévateur. Until November, our teams and those of FE Training carried out a Tour de France to present our awp and our training courses by coming to meet our associates and partners.
We organized activities around the AWP in a time for sharing and conviviality, and exhibited our aerial work platforms (France Elévateur and Movex), being joined by our colleagues from the Time group: Versalift and Ruthmann.
Finally, the last trade show we attended this month was the international trade show InnoTrans. The latter brings together individuals and professionals from all over the world in the railway sector and thus offers a complete panorama of the passenger and freight transport market.
Given our expertise and know-how in railway aerial work platforms, we presented our flagship models in the railway field: VOR’AXE, 4’AXE and LOR’AXE. Our ability to adapt to the standards of each country is our strength in this field.
Our month of October was punctuated by the Bauma, the world’s leading trade fair for construction machinery and equipment, mining machinery, vehicles and construction equipment. Our France Elévateur team was able to meet you, joined by Movex, Versalift and Ruthmann, and presented our flagship platforms, as well as new products. The Topy 10.2i, ATL 15 on Ford Ranger and TLR 16 were present, but also a novelty presented for the occasion: the UPTO 15.
The end of the year was marked by the launch of our brand new range on light truck and chassis cab: UPTO. Several models from 11 to 18 meters will compose this range, which is for the time being accessible with the UPTO 15. This platform offers a working height of 15.1 m, 30% more payload and an articulated fly jib 180°. Find all the specificities of this awp in this article, or on the technical sheet by clicking here.
On the occasion of the release of this new model, we had the chance to be solicited by the city of Nancy, which asked to use our brand new platform to install the decorations on the Christmas tree in Place Stanislas. Here is a return in pictures of this moment filled with magic:
As you can see, the year 2022 for France Elévateur has been marked by strong changes, both in its structure and in its offer and global presence. The company has been able to grow by offering ever more innovative and efficient aerial work platforms, by coming to meet you at trade fairs and events, and by remaining close and attentive to the needs of its employees.
We would like to sincerely thank all the employees of the France Elévateur group, but also all our customers, old and new, suppliers and partners. We wish you a wonderful holiday season, may it be full of joy and good energy, and we will see you in January!
