1 March 202316 aerial work platforms delivered to Cyprus!

France Elévateur is proud to have delivered 16 AWP to the Electricity Authority of Cyprus. EAC is responsible for the generation, transmission, and distribution and supply of electricity in Cyprus.

The Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) has taken delivery of sixteen new MWEP’s to replace older units in their fleet. This purchase is an important step forward to guarantee their personnel safe machines to work and to reply to the higher demand for aerial work in the territory.

The issued tender in 2020 was won by France Elévateur and they chose to partner up with local companies, CTC Automotive Ltd, to deliver the Iveco Daily 70C18H and with Spyros Houtris & Sons Ltd for the after-sales.

To comply with the tender specs, France Elévateur designed a bespoke version of their 172TPLi model that responds to the many described safety features while maintaining an excellent work performance and a 1.6t net play-load on an overall compact solution.

🔧 With a working height of 17m, outreach of 10m, the possibility to work in a lateral-/longitudinal inclination of 3°/8.5°, while all wheels keep touching the ground, the staff of EAC can comfortably reach every work position.

Above all, these units are double insulated till 1kv for extra safety. For more than 15 years, France Elévateur has been continuously developing technologies in order to offer solutions for working under tension.
